I also agree that it brings the family together. Its almost like people can count on when they are going to be together. The favorite shows are recorded and there is nothing lost.

I have a dual tuner, so I can record two shows at one time or record on the "second" TV and watch anything I want on the "first" one. Also if I don't want to watch what is on the "first" tv I can just go watch the "second" tv without interupting anything or bothering people watching the "first" tv.

It's sure is nice to have, but I hate when I hit the "Fast Forward" button and all of a sudden there is a box that says "Live TV" on the screen. I freak out and have to record the rest just to miss the commercials LOL
