If you are looking to replace your old VCR with something from today's world, look no further than the Digital Video Recorder.

A DVR actually acts like a computer in which is stores whatever was recorded onto a hard drive. You can get ones that record anywhere from 20 hours all the way up to 100 hours.

Most of the cable companies out there offer them and the two major dish companies offer them as well. No need to set your VCR everytime your favorite show is on. Just program is to tape everytime it is on and it will tape it for you. It is a great way to watch your programming whenever you want.
