DIY Your Blu-ray Files By Windows Movie Maker.

Windows Movie Maker is video creating/editing software, included in Microsoft Windows Me, XP, and Vista. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline narration, and Auto Movie. New effects and transitions can be made and existing ones can be modified using XML code. Windows Movie Maker is also a basic audio track-editing program. It can apply basic effects to audio tracks such as fade in or fade out. The audio tracks can then be exported in the form of a sound file instead of a video file. The accepted formats for import are WMV/ASF, MPG (MPEG-1), AVI (DV-AVI), WMA, WAV, and MP3.But it can not support editing Blu-ray files.

The following guide is to tell you the way to convert your Blu-ray files to the WMV format compatible with Windows Movie Maker. If you have MTS and M2TS files, you can first convert them to Blu-ray files, and then you can follow the guide.

Step 1. Download EarthSoft Bluray Ripper and install it on your PC.

You can get the free trial version of EarthSoft Bluray Ripper, then install it on your PC for a try.

Step 2. Click the Add button to load your Blu-ray ( M2ts) files.

You can preview the files in the preview window, it helps you get the general idea of the files.
Step 3. Select your desired format from the dropdown menu.

For example, you can set WMV as your output format, then you can edit the converted files by Windows Movie Maker.

Step 4. Click Start button to convert your files.
Before your conversion, you can set the video size, video quality, audio quality, channels of the files.
