I've heard alot about Blu-Ray? About how great it is and how it's the future. I see advertisements about Blockbuster doing Blu-Ray and different movies promoting their DVD's in Blu-Ray.

This may be a stupid question, But what exactly is the difference between Blu-Ray DVD's & regular DVD's?

Blu-ray Disc is an the usual optical disc storage designed to supersede the standard DVD disc. Its main uses are for storing high-definition video, video games, and other data, with up to 25 GB per single layered, and 50 GB per dual layered disc.

Basically Blu-ray disc is much better than the usual DVD disc storing HD content and has great capacity. So if you want to choose between them, better have the Blu-ray disc.

Blu-ray Disc (BD) is a next-invention optical disc format together urbanized by the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA). In Blu-ray Disc, data is evidence on a single side of the disc. Though, a disc can store two data layers, equally at the same side.
