Question Blueray Cases smaller?

Word on the street is that a Blueray case is smaller than a DVD cas? Is that true? I've yet to see these elusive little guys in person, but I keep hearing great things about them (Bluerays).

Why is it terrible? Is the quality poor? Picture fuzzy or grainy? I've never used them . . .just read about them.

From what I understand, it's another media device to show a film, like a DVD or VHS . . . accept according to b0bx13, it stinks.

Can anyone tell us exactly why blu ray is getting such bad review? Are they fairly new, is the picture quality bad? I, too am not hearing too many things that are good about them, but that's I seem to hear. Nothing as to why.

I know - I never heard of blu-ray until I saw it on this forum. And then they get bad reviews. I'm wondering if it's an antiquated form of tech.
