Default Slider vs. Flip phones

I have a flip phone but am curious about the slider phones. Are there any problems with the slider phones because of their design? What one is the more popular phone?

The slider phones look really cool, but I've never tried one. They seem easier to handle than the flip phone, but I have no basis for comparison.

With the slider phone, the screen slides straight up and the keypad is revealed underneath it instead of flipping up like a flip phone. I just wondered if the slider wore out after time and would slide back down or something like that.

i own a slider phone its the Kyocera Sldier Remix and its way better than those flip phones cause for one all the answer button's are on the outside and you can do pretty much anything with out having to open it up or i should say slide it up......

another thing you dont have to worry about the darn flip breaking on ya......

alot easier to answer versus grabbing it checking who it is then answering it on the slider phone the screen is external so you just grab it and see who is calling hit answer or ignore in less time than you would with a flip
