A few years back I was living in a different part of the state. We did not have a cell phone tower anywhere in the area. In fact, if you wanted a cell phone, you couldn't even use it unless you were miles away. We were out in the middle of nowhere so you did have to travel a ways to get things you might need at home. Then, you could use your phone. The question I have is this, does the community have to pay for the cell phone tower? It seems that there were cell phone companies that wanted to put up towers, but the community wouldn't let them. I'm not sure why. Any ideas?
