Geek.com did a comparison between three countertop radios- the bose wave radio and similar offerings from Kloss and Cambridge. The bose got a 2 out of 5 for quality and it's average retail price was $350. The bose wave II has an average retail price of $700 and has "no outstanding details or features". The Kloss radio was under $100 and the Cambridge under $200. For $700 you could get a whole lot more and better system than that bose.
