Default Noise Cancellation Headphones

The anti-noise headphones feature advanced noise-cancellation technology in combination with full-spectrum audio performance.

Enjoy a quiet haven or stereo sound from almost any portable audio device.

The headphones virtually eliminate the droning noise of planes, trains, buses and traffic.

The soft earcups with memory foam cushioning provide ultra-comfortable extended wear.

It includes an airplane jack adapter for in-flight music or movies.

I really enjoy my noise-cancelling headphones, especially when I'm doing homework in a crowded area. The music clarity is wonderful.

I wish this kind of technology could be incorporated on a much larger scale, like cancelling out all external noise from a room. We have a lot of street noise outside of our house and it would be wonderful to be able to get a better night's sleep.

Well......there is something very similar for rooms. It's not technology based, though. The material used to build sound recording rooms is a noise cancelling type of material. I can't remember exactly what it is called. It is available to anyone, but I would imagine it is very expensive.

I know there are drapes that hotel rooms use to filter out sound. But even if you buy them used, they are very expensive for in-home use.

I have a Philips brand set that I bought from Wal-Mart. They work fine. There were a few brands there, but I chose this one because they were cheap and I was broke!
