Console gaming technology Kinect for Xbox
Kinect Xbox 360, or simply Kinect (originally code-named Project Natal), a motion-sensing input device for Microsoft's Xbox 360 game console. Based on some webcam-style add-on peripheral, and the Xbox 360 console, allowing users to monitor and interact with the Xbox 360 without having to touch the game controller, through a natural user interface using gestures and voice commands. The project aims to broaden the audience of the Xbox 360 beyond the base typical player. Kinect competes with the Wii Remote plus Move PlayStation and PlayStation Eye Motion Controller for Wii and PlayStation 3 consoles at home, respectively.
