So I bought the vga connector, two problems.

1.) I cant get sound to work, I bought the microsoft version because I knew it was the only one to come with a converter, I put the red and white wires into the converter, put that into my 2.1 speakers from my pc which are output by my x-fi, and I get no sound? Whats the deal?

2.) 1280x1024 isnt an option. It goes from 1024x768 to 1280x768 to 1360 x 768
wheres 1280x1024, I know people get this, do I need a pelican or mad catz one? I have two crt monitors, one capable of 1280x1024 the other 1600x1200, on both, neither get the option of 1290x1024 in the options screen of the 360, this is very dissapointing as I wanted 1280x1024!!! I'll go buy a cheapo 15 inch lcd if thats what it takes
