Favorite gaming system
What's your favorite gaming system? We have a Game Cube at home simply because it offered the most entertainment for the cheapest cost. Does anyone have a favorite, and why is it your favorite?

i have a favorite:
super
64
game cube
super (probably the one i feel *closest* to, followed by 64, which i know is lame these days but what can you do) has really good games... everything... and it's fun and awesome (and has one game with all the best regular nintendo mario games).
64 has better graphics and classics like smash bros & mario party and a super good tetris game.. best mario kart version - stuff like that.
game cube sums it all up cuz you can buy a game with atari games on it, and pretty much has every game i've ever loved compatible with it. of course, it's different style.
beyond that, I haven't gotten into x box much or whatever crazy systems there are.
it's too hard!

I got a gamecube because it was cheap. I haven't played the other systems nor do I have a desire to....I will stick with my cheapo and be just fine.

I have an Xbox and we really like that. I have played PS1 & PS2, but still like my Xbox. May be because I am used to it?!

I think that your preference definitely depends on what you're used to. But then again, there are those hard core gamers that can't wait to get their hands on a new system to learn.

I got a PS2 because we had a PS1 for the vehicle. This way we could play the PS1 games on the PS2.

Cool. I'm a gaming moron, so I didn't even know a person could play games from one system on another.

Ya, you can play PS1 games on PS2, but not the other way around.
