Guitar Hero II Rocks Xbox Live
Rockthusiasts can now download new song packs, themes, and gamer pictures of Guitar Hero II on the Xbox 360.
Activision has announced that Xbox 360 owners can now download nine songs from the original Guitar Hero through Xbox Live Marketplace, beginning today.
The initial download list includes: Guitar Hero - Track pack 1, Track pack 2, and Track pack 3. Each pack features three songs, and is available for 500 Points.
Guitar Hero Pack 1 includes three songs; Bark at the Moon by Ozzy Osbourne, Hey You by The Exies, and Ace of Spades by Motorhead.
Guitar Hero Pack 2 includes Killer Queen by Queen, Take it Off by The Donnas, and Frankenstein by The Edgar Winter Group; while Pack 3 has Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Infected by Bad Religion, and Stellar by Incubus.
Each of the songs has been revised with new bass or rhythm parts to better fit the sequel's multiplayer mode.
In addition, fans will be able to assume the identity of their favorite Guitar Hero, with exclusive theme packs available for 150 points, and gamer pictures for 100 points. The new packs focus on Judy Nails, Grim Ripper, and the rest of the game's colorful cast of guitar heroes.
Activision said that fresh new songs and other exciting content will be made available on a monthly basis.
