Default Reality TV Craze

Do you see this craze continuing on much longer? Has it peaked yet? I still can't believe what different reality ideas producers are coming up with. Except now many of the new types of reality TV shows are just re-hashed ideas of older ones.

My husband loves some of the reality shows. Personally, I couldn't care less about them. Even with the situations that are set up, I don't think it's reality. Reality is my everyday; what's on the tv is sheltered -- they're all in a house or on an island and can't leave. Let them make a show that follows every day people around while they do their thing; then I might watch.

I really hope we get rid of the reality shows real soon. I can't say there is one that I have ever watched. I take that back, I have watched some of the ones on MTV. I don't see any amusement in any of them. I also hope they come up with a greater variety of shows instead of all of these crime shows that all how the same storyline. Those were interesting at first, but now they too are getting a little old. It's kind of funny because I read books all the time, and I usaully read murder books and I guess those all have the same story line but I don't get sick of those.

The aspect of escape is gone with reality TV. I think I'd rather have the shows that we grew up with, the ones that had a plot with a beginning, a climax, and a clean, neat ending.
