I'm wondering if these are . . . fair and even worth the effort. TV Ratings have not been public that long, so I think it's interesting when watching a show of, say, Without a Trace, and I see that it's rated "R" for "V" (violence).

I've watched without a trace and haven't noticed any real violence on it. I think it would be a disturbing show for a child to watch, since it might make them worry about someone in the family going missing. Otherwise, it's no more violent than any other show I watch.
