Is it worth the fix?
If you have an old tube set that blows its tube, is it worth fixing it?

I wouldn't think it would be worth the expense, unless you are super attached to it just go get a new one!!

If the actual tube blows it is a major fix and not worth the effort.

Why not? I mean, why should you go out and spend several hundred (sometimes thousands) of dollars on a new TV if you've got one that works fine? I figure, use it until it dies.

I don't mean to be offensive or anytning, but I just hate the thought that we have to get a new TV just because we still have a tube set. Seriously -- do you really NEED a new TV just so you can have a better quality one?
