Post Tiff Maintains quality compared to other formats
This larger photo image is revered because it's lossless according to PC World gurus. These files are larger than JPEGS but little quality is lost when you edit a TIFF.

Drawback: Tiffs are juch larger than jpegs, adn the format is not as universal as jpeg.
