Pure Digital was a Point and Shoot Camcorder that records MPEG-4 video but costs only $129. The low price doesn't mean poor quality either, the camcorder is loaded with features. www.puredigitalinc.com has more info for those who are interested in finding out a little more.

Someday I will have to look into something like this as well- we still have the good old black & white vhs camcorder!!
