Default Canon PowerShot A610

This camera is a 7.1 megapixel medium size camera. It was adapted from the Canon A95 . You will have a 7x zoom and a digic II processor. But one of the best parts about this camera is the 2 inch LCD screen.

the camera is a gray color and slightly metalic looking The edges of the body are generally rounded. On the right side of the camera you have a great handgrip area that is also the battery compartment.

Default LCD on Canon A620

Oh and the LCD screen can sit in the camera or you can pop it out to the side of the camera. If you have never used this type of pop out screen you just have to try it. It makes taking your pictures even easier.

The down side I have with this camera is that it takes 4 AA batteries and it is slightly heavier than some of the other camera of equal specs.

You can also get the Canon A610 and I think that one only have 5 megapixel picture quality.

FYI - the prices on the Canon A700 just went down, from when I bought it in Feb. 06.
