Default HP camera recall
HP has to recall over 600,000 units sold during the past two years in its Photosmart R707 line and nearly a quarter of a million of those are in the US. The fix only requires you to download firmware that will tell the camera not to charge a nonrechargeable battery and thus cause dangerous overheating.

Why dont they just install rechargable batteries then?

You know, technology is supposed to be really advanced and smart and all that and then you see something like this...charging non-rechargable batteries.....duh!?!?!

Technologies haven’t advance to its maximum yet in my opinion as we have still left to see a lot like recharging something that is not chargeable.
