Default New Duracell batteries for digital cameras

Duracell has introduced a line of dedicated NiOx technology batteries for digital cameras that it calls the "Duracell Power Pix". The company says that you will get more power and up to twice as many pictures than on ordinary alkaline batteries.

I wonder if they really work though?

Nice -- I'm guessing that the Duracell engineers probably tested the batteries themselves to make this claim. I'd be game to try them.

I'm just thankful that the new digital cameras don't make a person deal with lithium batteries. I hated those things. Whenever mine died, it cost an arm and a leg to replace the battery, and inevitably I'd get the wrong size.

I hated those funky sized batteries...I would always forget to take the old one with me or write down the number and I would try to choose by sight and yes..get the wrong one.

I don’t like these batteries much as there are too many numbers to remember which I most of the time forget and instead get a wrong one.
