This product sounds very cool and futuristic...but also very expensive. I keep my DVDs in my TV armoire. Call me old-fashioned!

Is this product baby-proofed? My biggest concern would be that one of my children could damage it or get hurt with it. Otherwise it sounds like a fantastic product.
