Default Why 700MB CD-RW shows only 570MB?

Hello Friends,

I have 2 CD RW one is from SONY (Single case packing) and another is Moser Bare Pro.

As both have 700MB Total Capacity, but when I formed it automatically via Nero/InCd it finally only shows 570 MB.

I have saw same thing with both CD.

As first time I formatted SONY with NERO and Second time MB Pro was formatted with InCD still I get same 570 MB. I can understand that formatting require some space but here 130MB is gone? Don't know Where and How?

Is this common or I have some problem while Formatting?

Please suggest, so in future I will take care with New CDRW.

Thank You

when u put a cd in just say cancel

and to write the data onto it just open nero and add the data from there
then u`ll be able to use 700mb at a strech

even there if u use multi session option then for every session that u make on the disk u`ll be wastin a few mbz

I guess best option is to just make a multisession disk. if the file sizes are big and number of files in each session is less, then the wastage can be minimized.
