HD-DVD at major retailers only?
I just read this on avs from a guy who owns a video store in NY (really!).
He said:
It's been confirmed by 2 distributors that HD-DVD will only be available for the first 90 days from top retail stores only (Best Buy and others). Apparently toshiba is calling the shots, Blockbuster will be shut out as well as all the independent retailers. That's not 90 days from launch...it's 90 days on an ongoing basis, all titles will have the same 90 day lag. What a joke!
