Default HD-DVD Player VS UPCONVERTING-DVD Player
i am in the market for a new dvd player and i was wondering whether to wait for hd-dvd or to get a cheaper upconverting player?

what is the picture difference?

say for example a HD movie played on a HD dvd player vs a normal dvd movie upconvereted to 720/1080 (both on hdtv).

i was in the market for the OPPO OPDV971H .
