I don't have a stopwatch to get an exact time on my XA1 but it seems like its about 1:30 before I can start a movie(when the disc is already in the player) and a bit longer iff not. I have seen a few people over at AVS stating startup/load times of under 20sec. for each. I was wondering if anyone has/would time theirs and report what their times are and when the player was made? someone suggested a newer firmware may be on these but those with faster times haven't reported back yet. could it be possible Toshiba ran out of a few items internally and were forced to "upgrade" to something different which caused the speedups? I'm really curious about this now.
