Internet cafes are a neat thing. I bet you would make a killing if you opened one in this area.

Internet Cafe's
I live in a small town area. We don't have internet cafe's around here anywhere that I am aware of. Not sure if one could make it around here. We have wi-fi available in some fast food places so you still have to have your own computer. That is a recent development for sure, within the last year.

I think it all depends on location. For example, I DON'T think it would do well in small towns -- REALLY small towns (under 5000 population). I do think it would do well in an urban setting, though.
I love internet cafes. They came in especially handy for me when I travelled abroad a couple of years ago and wanted to keep in touch with my husband.

Yeah, I think that you are right, it is all in location. I like the convenience of being able to get online no matter where I am. I live in such a rural community though that they all look at me like I am crazy when I like to be on the computer as much as I do around here. My husband pretty much only wants to play games etc. on it.

I have never been to an internet cafe, but the setup sounds interesting...it would be kind of nice to be able to go somewhere and get away from the normal settings for an evening of internet related work or fun!!
