23" seems rather small by todays standards. My personal monitor is 22" wide screen. If you're in a large room seated far away, it will seem like such a tiny picture.

Nice, i looked at a 42" as well before. A friend of the family gets them at cost, and it was around $1400... of course i cant remember the make, but at the time i searched google and they were aprox $1999.

I currently have a 32" tube, and im happy with that so far. Until it blows up, i will use it

My Cousin has a High Definition TV, it is 40'' really big, I find any excuse possible just to go to his house to watch the TV.

I rolled up at Dell.com and bought myself a 2400MP projector. I like it a lot. I have room for it in my basement so it wasn't a tough decision between this or TV. From 17' away I have a 104" crystal clear screen

That's what I think you should get. $1250 delivered to my door in about 4 days. Let me know if you need any more information on this item.

Good luck with your choice.

Like Hitech said, you would want to buy a projector. 2400MP project is hot, its a great deal for the picture quality it provides.
