I wanted to extend the cable so that I could use the monitor as a wall-mount, as the computer has mostly died and I'm trying to make the most of what's left. I just don't know what the cable's name is so I can't Google for it.

I did a bit of research and found that it MIGHT be an LVDS cable but it seems like there's a lot of different types. In any event, I'm lost.

The monitor is a Hitachi tx41d56vc1caa (says the back of the monitor) if that helps anyone.
