LOST

Hey all

I am getting my replacement laptop soon here and I am going to be doing a complete reformat (of course). I am looking to download some components now to make life easier and was looking across the .NET framework and had a question.

If I download the 2.0 will it be a flawless install? I know in some cases you have to get 1.0 then 1.1 then 2.0 or there might be issues. As a side note I know for a fact earlier I had to uninstall the framework and then reinstall to update a previous update a few weeks ago.
