Default Computer fairs

It is hard to beat a computer fair when it comes time to find a great bargain. Shows like this have thousands of vendors who all want to unload their products at huge discounts, often prices are slashed 50 to 80 percent!! A good way to find out if there is going to be a computer fair in your area is just to use google and key in "computer fair" or "computer show" along with your location.

I've heard about these, but were always afraid to buy from them, because what if something was wrong with it. Once the fair was over, how would you return it? Are there actual computer companies there, or just vendors selling used items?

You can find both: manufacturers and vendors- as for problems, any new equipment would come with a manufacturer's warranty and some of the larger vendors have their own extended warranties as well.

Absolutely true- do your research first even when going to a computer fair. Find the products you are interested in, research the prices ranges they retail for, and then go to the fair fully informed and ready to see if you really can find some bargains!!

I'd never buy anything without a warranty anyway. I've never heard of this venue for buying a computer, but I'd be game to check one out.

Yes it would be neat to attend, but for those of us living in small rural areas there are not very many happening anywhere close!
