Default Laptops under $1,200

For those looking for a laptop with a little more performance but still not willing to break the bank, Laptop Magazine named two laptops as great purchases for the under $1,200 range. The HP Pavilion dv2000t and the Apple MacBook need to be looked at if this is the price range you are wanting to spend.

The specs are good, not the highest levels of ram or processor speed, but for under $1200 they are worth considering.

I don't know too much about Apple computers, but from what I have read, they are making a come back. I do like the HP computers and have done some research, this is a good computer to buy. I can't compare it to the Apple though. I really don't know anyone with an Apple computer to even know what they're opinions are of it. Either way, a laptop under $1200 isn't too bad of a deal if you are looking for a new one. My range for a new computer is $800-1200. I figure for what I use my computer for, this is all that I need.

Ya, a lot of people have absolutely no need to go out and spend $3000+ for a laptop other than to brag about what they have!!
