Does it have a special screen as well as a special drive? Obviously it needs a different drive than the regular DVD drive, but doesn't the screen make a difference for HD as well?

So does it have to have a diffeernt one... How come lap tops dont come with a burner in them?

Yes it has a good screen, a 17in./1920x1200 WUXGA (1080p HD format)
