OH GOD.
please tell me thats not a pentium 4. PLZ tell me...
dont care if its pentium 4 M, or just P4, they're power drainers no matter what... argh, P4s are NOT meant fr laptops my friend, if its not too late, get a Pentium M, or Core Duo. For the love of god, even get a celeron... (ok, mebe not celeron, but still. not P4)
as for ur screen, is is WSXGA+? or at least SXGA+?(resolution issues...)
u mite wana consider at least a 80 gb hd nowadays...
512 ram is enough if ur not planning on doing anything intesne on it, but i woudl upg to 1gb for "futureproofing" anyways
64 megs of v-ram is worse than an integrated...
i would personally take the intel integrated to save the $, either that or upgrade to 128/ 256 cards.
what model of dell btw?

alrite lets see... u probably are new with laptops no?
MY BATTERY lasts 5 hours (9 cell) using these specs:
core duo 2ghz
1gb ram
80 gb hd
256 MB X1400 ATI
WSXGA+ LCD 15.4"
Wifi G- intelpro
dvd/cd burner double write,
and this system costed me $1259.45 after tax and s/h
--------------------------------------------------------------
according to you (over AIM), your laptop costed $1500,
and also according to u, it only lasts 3 hours on battery.
so let's send a general poll out to the community here, plz give a rating on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best) for the value and specs of bowlerguy92's computer.
to bowlerguy, being very sincere and no longer mocking, if this system is still within the 30 day refund policy, plz go refund. i can help u build a much cheaper/better system, no joke.

sigh**, bowlerguy, why do u bother posting these opinion polls of ur laptop if u only want to hear good things about it? i was being perfectly truthful.
but, if u insist on hearing empty praises:
"OMFG! That has gotta be the sexiest laptop iv ever seen! oh oh oh, where can i get on as well??"

As long as it does what you want it to do, then it's great. Who said he just bought it? I'm sure that model has been discontinued long ago.

ROFL. Yes, he must not know much about current times notebooks.
I had a sony vaio about 4 years ago with better specs than that.
For the price you paid that was stated (if that is what you really paid)
you got ripped off.... unless you bought it about 3 or 4 years ago.
Dell, or any other major retailer has notebook in the low $1000 range which have very nice performance and battery life.
What the other people on here have said is right on target.
We are not being "asses." It is just the truth.
