Why should I go LCD Vs Plasma? I mean plasma seem to be getting to the price point of ALMOST affordable for the general public. I mean unless you are some bachelor that doesn't have any bills and hasn't wasted money on beer then you should be able to afford a plasma but for the rest of us that still want a crisp picture and a large screen then I think LCD is the way to go.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the LCD TV's and what they thought of them.

I mean I know that I would love to hear about LCD TV's as opposed to plasma being the better deal but if it is just not true would you lend me your insight.

Between the two, LCD is by far better. However, if you have the room, DLP and CRT displays are still the best.

So I take it that plasma doesn't come very highly recommended? Or is it because it is unaffordable for most now?

I personally think the plasma is way overpriced and way too big
