FYI i just bought a brand-new Samsung LCD 26" TV from Future Shop here in Canada. The price was CDN$929 (regular price was $1099 but they discounted it)

So far i'm very happy with it. The reason i chose the Samsung over other brands is it had the SVGA, so i can hook up my computer to it.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Good call with the SVGA. I use my 30" CRT with HDMI as a second (or third) display every now and then for games or movies. It's really a great extra.

I also have a samsung 26 inch tv. They seem to be a very good product. As a matter of fact, mine is so good it won't quit so I can upgrade. I can't afford to just let it go either.
