This is the greatest thing ever.......
for some reason or another, I accidentally held down shift while I was minimizing a window and I saw one of the coolest but most pointless operations to date, on this computer or any for that matter. Try it out, its shift + minimize window.

Note: It only works if you hold down shift and click on the minimise button with the cursor. It doesn't work when using the keyboard shortcut.

it also works by double-clicking on the top of the window to minimise, which I always do as opposed to using the minimise button

Try holding down the ctrl+shift key at the same time while minimizing the window... ;-)

This also works in reverse....eg: click the minimized windows icon in the Dock whilst holding down the shift key at the same time....
