Default 15' 17' 19 or larger?

I was recently looking to upgrade to a flat panel monitor and I have a nice crt 19' monitor.

Now I know the price points for the 19' inch flat panel monitors are nice and expensive but the space that it will save me on the desktop will be worth it.

So, is it going to be better to get a 19' inch a 17' inch or a 15' inch monitor because for one I don't have the best eye sight in the world and need something to where I won't have to squint to see the letters, and at the same point I don't want to have to be glued to my monitor screen.

If there is anyone with any advice on this that would be great I would appreciate all your help.

Thank you in advance!!!

Smile 19" monitor

I would say that if you are a video game buff, to get the bigger size. It's just not the same to have a smaller screen and having to squint at some of the games because you can't see them.

I have a 19" screen and love it. I play all sorts of games from fighting games to sports games and love seeing the whole picture while playing.

My friends come over just so they can enjoy the big screen and it seems to me that they are a little bit jealous because they have smaller screens and want to see what it looks like on a bigger screen.

Come on now. Bigger isn't always better...lol

But really a 17" monitor and a 19" monitor are both plenty large. You will be able to see what you are doing on either one. But since the price difference is only about $40 I would say just go with the 19" montior!

Honestly, it depends on what you need your monitor for.

If you are just using it for personal stuff, then I would say a 15" should work.

However, if you plan on doing office stuff or you plan on using it for games, then I would say that the 19" should be plenty big.

For office stuff, you can have quite a few screens up while working on whatever you have to do.

As for games, invite your friends over and have a great time because you will be able to see everything on the screen and still be able to brag about burying your buddy on the playing field.

the bigger the better! I think you should get the 19" monitor! You will be able to manager your internet windows easier and not have to strain your eyes.

The only reason that you shouldn't get a display as big as you can is if you can afford, say, an off brand, low quality 19", or a good 17". No matter what you're doing, larger monitors take strain off your eyes and make life easier in general.

Default Go for 19"

If you have the money to spend on the 19", go for it! You won't believe how it cuts down on your eye strain and just makes your time spent at the computer so much more enjoyable. Plus, it looks impressive setting on your computer desk

The 19” monitor is more than likely the best way to go. You probably don’t need anything bigger than that and the smaller ones will drive you up the wall if you’re already using a 19”. Keep in mind that a 17” flat screen will look good compared to the 19” you have now. Well good luck with your quest and hopefully you’ll find the right fit for you.

At work, I use a 15" monitor and have no problems seeing things, because I am about two feet from the computer.

However, if I am at home, I would go with the bigger size.

I saw that you can now get a monitor that can be used for both your computer and your tv.

How cool is that!!
