Post Projectors for both business and pleasure.

PC World recently tested two different projectors that proved themselves in the board room and the living room. The Dell 2400 MP and the InFocus Work Big IN26 are "viable choices" according to the test.

The Dell was ranked "very good" with its "superior brightness adn excellent image quality." Street price is $1099.

The InFocus was rated "good" and declared an "easy-to-use project" that "offers fairyl good image quality and brightness at a bargain price." Street price: $999

I can remember when a person couldn't get a decent projector for less than $2000, so it's nice to see progress at work.

I actually took a media class in college that included a test on how to feed the film into it.

A friend of mine decided to get a projector for his living room and he says its more high tech and he enjoys it... I was thinking about this as well but how much space do you truely need to have a projector in your living room? anything special you have to buy?

I've wondered this before. I imagine them working on a big, white wall if you don't have a screen. But in my imaginary world, I'd get a screen that comes down via remote.

I picture these projectors running from either a DVD player or a computer. In that case, you can watch your own movies (if you mean home movies) if they're burned on a DVD.

You probably can't watch them on these kind of prjectors. My parents discovered an 8mm projector and films this past year before Christmas, and my mom had Harold's convert the film into DVD's. That worked pretty well. Each film was a chapter on the DVD.
