Another newb to wireless,
I'm stationed in Afghanistan and just recently got interested in WiFi,
downloaded aircrack 2.1, Ethereal and a few other wifi programs, i've found two unsecure lines and one secure line. I have an intel wireless internal card on my laptop. in the task bar it says i'm connected but none of my browsers will work...i just get a "server not found" response. Am i connected? not sure what to do next, for the encrypted line i have the WEP key but get the same response.
any help????
Why won't browsers see this connection, not sure if i set up the network.xp stuff up right, should there be a bridge?Lan? or just disable everything but the Wireless network connection icon?
