If the Halo 2 Vista has some nice exclusives maybe I'll fork over my $50 for it... maybe, but they better be VERY nice... like Arbitor level where I go back to 1942 and smack Hitler around with a wiffle bat, side by side with Sr. and Jr. Skywalker, all to the musical tune of "Here I Am Rock You Like A Hurricane."

No more sarcasm... just give me next gen Halo 3, no ports.

I have both an Xbox 360 with Halo 2 and a PC with F.E.A.R. I can honestly say that for any type of multiplayer game of Xbox Live, Halo 2 is clearly better. However, I though that F.E.A.R. was better in terms of single-player storyline and graphics. Halo 2 with be released sometime next year, and I believe it will only run on Windows Vista, if they change the gameplay for the PC and carry-over the great multiplayerness, it might be good, but I think everyone here will agree that Halo 1 on the PC was no where near as good as Halo on Xbox, just my thoughts.

I disagree - halo multiplayer on the pc is fantastic - (atleast) don't knock it till you've tried it.

I second that, I am an Avid player of Halo For the PC's Multiplayer and it really is Fantastic . . .

Better than Xbox Live? Perphaps. However gameplay doesn't even come close.

No, I find its better at times. The keyboard controls are much easier then the large Controller of the XBox

Hmm lets see why the pc version of halo is better than the xbox version;

shorter (virtually no) loading times
six extra multiplayer maps
inclusion of rocket warthog & banshee in multiplayer
the inclusion of the flamethrower and the fuel rod gun in multiplayer
sharper graphics (at higher resolutions)
Playing a fps with mouse & keyboard (over a controller)

granted the pc version doesn't have co-op play (not a big loss IMO anyway)
