Default Microsoft Flight Simulator

My favorite PC game is Microsoft Flight Simulator. The game was developed by an actual pilot. Flight Simulator is even used to train Navy pilots. Students in the pilot training school in Florida must take 27 hours of Flight Simulator instruction. It's a great tool because you can replay your flight and see both vertical and horizontal profiles. It is also a lot less expensive than other training tools.

Flight Simulator is useful for setting up challenges, especially when weather and maintenance problems cancel a real-world flight.

My husband loves playing Flight Simulator. He can spend hours on it. I think it makes him feel like he's really a pilot. At one point in time he wanted to make flying his career but he got sidetracked.
