just saw there is a new version of this out which is entirely stand alone (meaning you don't need to have a legit copy of q3 to play it anymore). If you want to see what it's about :
http://tremulous.net , basically it's kinda a teambased "aliens" style game, where you can choose to be human or alien. The download is about 100 megs.
I've put a server up : 202.27.193.142:27965. For some reason it doesn't show up in the server list if you refresh it, but you can connect directly.
