Default What Games are you Playing

What are the hottest games and how much do they cost. PC games are the greatest way to increase the "Fun" level of your home PC.

Can you get PC games for free and where? What games are offering Alpha and Beta testing?

Default What games are out there

If you are into sci-fi, you can go to startrek.com or starwars.com and alot of times you can get in on both demos and testing games out. Its a cool way to get started if you have no experience in the gaming world. They can also lead you to some other sites that have more games or information.

Default there are a lot of questions to be answered here!!

First you need to keep up on the games in order to know which are going to be going through the test phases i.e. the alpha and beta testing phases if you are wanting to become a tester just go to the site that is making the game and there should be a sign up sheet in order to get on a list of people that will be playing the games.

So research and finding the sign up sheet would be the first step to finding the games that you are looking for to alpha and beta test.

hope that helps with one of your questions.

Default Hottest games out there!

Well that is all in the eye of the beholder what is hottest...if you are looking for what is easiest well that is a different story because often what is easy is not being played by the masses and what is being played by the masses is often known as the hottest games out there.

For the hottest games around I would have to say that Everquest also known as evercrack is still a popular game and was one of the first MMORPG games (massively multiplayer online role playing game). I would have to say that Everquest II is popular and so is the AMAZING world of WoW or Worlds of Warcraft. This game will consume your life like no other.

There are many many more games like Half Life 2 or Oblivion (which would be Elder Scrolls IV OBLIVION) my bad. Anyhow hope that helps.

Most the games I have mentioned are not typically played by younger kids unless their parents don't mind them looking at violent stuff.

Hope that helps.

Default Finding free games online!

Well there is many places to find free games online. I would say go to Popcap.com or go to google and search free online games or free games or free internet games and you will find many. However you should know the site a little like Shockwave.com has free games and they are pretty good games and highly addictive games as well.

All these places are good places to start and you can always go to sites like Yahoo.com they have a gaming section although their games are not as graphically intensive and generally people go there for conversations rather than great game visuals.

Hope that helps

The last game I played on my PC was Oblivion. Since then, I've all but sworn off PC gaming. It's just too much to drop several bills every couple of years for a new video card (on top of regular RAM and proc upgrades).

A game that is fairly popular with kids right now is Runescape. The players can pick who they want to be, what they want to do (be a sword fighter, mage, etc.), and go on quests.

The graphics are too bad. There is a bit of violence, but they don't have any gory graphics, like blood spurting everywhere.

There are kids as young as 10 playing on it, and there are some adults who enjoy it also.

Smile alpha and beta testing?

What is alpha and beta testing? Are the sign up sheets hard to find? Is it first come first serve when you sign up?

I like to play a lot of online games. Jeopardy.com has free traditional Jeopardy as well as Rock n Roll Jeopardy. I'm a fan of the show so I like to play the online game in the hopes that one day I'll be able to audition for the real thing.

Has anyone seen the neat games at VH1.com? If you have been watching "The World Series of Pop Culture" on VH1, it's fun to go to the web site and play the online version.
