Websites that have games
If you look around, there are so many websites that have children's games that do not cost anything to play. There is a Barbie site, Nickelodeon, Disney and I think cartoon network has a site. These sites have all the popular characters...Scooby Doo, Dora, Blue's Clues, Bob the Builder, Barbie, Mickey Mouse, etc. They seem to be for a range of ages and I have never had a problem with the sites.

Kids games on disc
If you look around at the kid's games, you can find a multiple value pack. I have found them at several stores. These are really nice because for the price of one game you get five. They are mostly for littler kids. They have the popular characters like Kermit, Arthur, etc.

I wonder if computer games would interest a 3-year-old. My oldest child (age 3) is a Spongebob Squarepants fanatic. I haven't seen any Spongebob games in the stores. Does anyone know if they exist?
I have to be careful, though, about introducing computer games too early. I would like for there to be a balance between gaming and other activities that involve my children playing outdoors.

PC games fun way to learn
As for the sponge bob, I thought I had seen one. ToysRus and Best Buy have great selections. I have seen alot of the kids games and they seem like such a fun way to learn. It seems to really get their attention with the characters to learn some of the basics. The downfall is the memory they take by putting multiple games on the computer and you will then have to share now that they found out how fun that boring box could be.

I think if a game is educational, such as teaching kids their ABCs or math, then it would be beneficial. But I don't think that a Barbie game would be particularly educational.

Support Health Clinics--Critical Care for Hurricane Survivors
There is a need for ongoing support for people who have endured a disaster, such as a hurricane. Whatever you give, your gift will help those who are unable to provide for their medical needs at this time. Healthcare is a vital need for each person in our world. We cannot control nature and hurricanes; this is out of our control. Yet each can respond by choice and give their active response in an effort to alleviate the suffering.

I don't think games are harmful for the kids provided it shouldn't contain violence, pronography, etc. indeed it should teach them good behaviour, respect, manners and also it should help in their studies. In todays world many games are found here and there but it is the duty of the parents to look after their child and teach them what to play and what not to.

I think the same vigilance needs to be shown for television-watching. You shouldn't allow your children to be exposed to violence and pornography on television or in video games. There are many educational games available that can be used to teach math and reading.
