It's still the middle of Game Developers Conference week, but already something a lot of people would have guessed has been certified by the experts.

That is, of course, that Gears of War, the Microsoft Game Studio Xbox 360 game is the best game of the year.

I'm not just saying so. The game won the best game title at Wednesday night's Game Developers Choice awards at GDC.

Gears of War also won for best technology and best visual arts, while Nintendo's Wii Sports was cited for best game design.

In addition, Nintendo game design legend Shigeru Miyamoto--of Donkey Kong, Mario and Legend of Zelda fame--was given a lifetime achievement award.

That's good timing, given that Miyamoto is Thursday's GDC keynote, and thousands are expected for his talk.

It is simple work to swap playable characters in GoW (few operations in editor), but i do not know how to export upk corretly! it does not work with gears version of unreal 3 engine, but fully works with UT3, in the same time using standart gears character bones!
