Making Windows start in safe mode depends on what OS you are running. I assume you are on XP, VISTA or Win7? First thing you want to do is to restart your pc. When the machine first starts it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. When it is finished with that it will say "Starting Windows 95". Immediately after seeing "Starting Windows 95" press the F8 key. You will now be presented with a menu. Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys. Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode.

You can start your window in safe mode and depends on what OS you are running. Restart your PC and press the F8 key when it shows ‘Starting Windows 95.’

Or, when you starting your computer, you can choose the safe model, or maybe you can set up a key of your computer, have a try, I think its the easiest way to do that well, hope it could help you.
