Question Palm Treo 650 HotSync Problems
I am having serious sync problems with my palm treo 650. Every time I attempt to hotsync, the process freezes on "synchronizing media." Then my computer freezes, and I have to go to task manager to shut everything down. I have tried reinstalling the PalmOne Desktop software, reformatting the sandisk card, even looking for corrupt media files (as one forum suggested). Nothing is working. The only way I can get it to complete a sync is to turn off the Media conduit.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

What does the hotsync error log say?

I don't get a log because the hotsync doesn't complete. It's just a general error stating that synchronization failed.

I had this problem, and once I reformatted my card, the problem was fixed. Did you rename your card something strange? I've heard this can cause weird things to happen during hotsync.

Treo's website has a really good guide for troubleshooting.
