Welcome to our forums Charles.
I'm a bit confused by your question? Which version of TomTom are you talking about and also what unit are you installing it on to?

I have just bought the Yakumo GPS 3000, it comes with sat nav software called
Marco Polo, when you buy the 3000 you get a 256mb card with it, plug the card into the 3000, go to "file explorer" and go to "storage card" and u should find a cab file, click on this marco polo cab file and it will install the software.

Thanks for the welcome, I read he was trying to put tom tom on it, but the 3000 comes packaged with marco polo, and other bits so it's sat-nav ready, I just thought the person may of been confused about the software.
I'm not sure if the tom tom software would work on the 3000, I will look in to it.

Welcome JayGT.
Thanks for that, but seems like he is trying to install TomTom onto it. Haven't heard from him since though...

I would guess it would be fine as long as it had pocketpc on it. Do they have Bluetooth?
