I remember reading this really cool article about how you can play this fun game called geocaching with your persona GPS device. i guess there are all these hidden boxes around the world that family's hide and maintain.

You go to the geocaching website and look up an area that you will be traveling to, then you look up the coordinates for the box. When you get there you follow your GPS to find the box.

It is a realy life treasure hunt... Seamed like a great idea to do with kids!

I had never heard of this before. So I just did a Google search and have had a lot of fun the past half hour reviewing all the info on the www.Geocaching.com website- The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site.

We did a smaller scale "treasure hunt" like that with a group of about a dozen people, split them into teams of two and made a race type deal out of it- pretty fun!!

This DOES sound pretty cool. I'm assuming that a person uses his GPS to find the treasure. I've seen news reports on this and neven series spinoffs about it as well. It's a pretty cool way to have fun with your GPS.
